Having left Tokyo Electro Beat Recordings, the label he co-founded back in 2004 because of a divergence of vision with his partners, Yosuke Ikeda (Battery Park Studio, Fdb Recordings, Crobot Muzik, ) introduces today the debut release of his brand new electro label "Anti Gravity Device".

Available for free download, the digital EP serves up two dancefloor slaughters in pure AE35 style. Relentless "Special Pattern" will immerse you in a post apocalyptic world surrounded by hostile lifeforms. Fuelled with 808 drums, infectious vibes, subsonic bass, rough electro beats, deep yet dark synth melodies, the tune depicts a chaotic planet after a merciless alien invasion. Efficient and brilliant at the same.

Mechanic "Machine Heart Beat", my favorite, keeps the pressure alive thanks to a surprisingly electro groove bas(s)ed upon sparse mind blowing distorted vocoder vocals reminding of Anthony Rother's "Don't Stop The Beat" over metallic pads, robotic beats and Scifi tones. Ace!

Another really well produced EP on Brokntoys. Four beautiful tracks, each one a catchy Ohrwurm, so it's hard for me to choose a favorite (again). Personally, the soundscape totally reminds me of the mid-90s. Modern electro mixes perfectly with IDM elements. Wonderfully done. Thank you for this beautiful work. My rating 4.75/5 quzani
